The Corning 1500-UHF-RU is a high-performance Remote Unit designed to distribute 421–512 MHz UHF services, including 2-way business radio and public safety communications. It performs optical-to-RF conversion, amplification, and filtering, making it ideal for campus-style deployments. Seamlessly integrates with the MobileAccess1000/2000 platform for multi-service support across large facilities.
Antennas can be connected directly to the RF ports or through external couplers, with each remote unit supporting up to 20 km fiber reach from the headend. It is housed in a 1U rack-mountable enclosure, delivering reliable and efficient RF transport with low power consumption.
