The Commscope 78EZDF is a high-performance 7-16 DIN Female EZfit® connector designed for use with 7/8" coaxial cables including AVA5-50, AVA5-50FX, and FXL-780. This clamp-style connector features a straight body style with silver-plated inner contacts and a robust trimetal-plated outer shell. Rated for up to 5 GHz operation, it offers low VSWR, exceptional return loss, and rugged durability across demanding wireless infrastructure and RF deployments.
The 78EZDF is engineered for low intermodulation distortion (IMD), minimal insertion loss, and high power handling (up to 40 kW peak), making it ideal for carrier-grade DAS and base station installations. It meets IP68 and IP66 protection standards for moisture and water ingress when mated and complies with major international standards like IEC and RoHS.
