The Cisco Catalyst C9130AXI-B is an enterprise-class WiFi 6 indoor wireless access point designed for high-density business, education, healthcare, hospitality, campus, and large office deployments. This model features integrated internal omnidirectional antennas, WiFi 6 efficiency features, integrated Bluetooth Low Energy 5, and a multigigabit Ethernet uplink supporting speeds up to 5 Gbps.
The C9130AXI-B uses Flexible Radio Assignment technology. In its default configuration, it provides an 8x8:8 5 GHz radio and a 4x4:4 2.4 GHz radio. The 8x8 5 GHz radio can also be software-split into two separate 4x4:4 5 GHz radios for higher client capacity in demanding wireless environments.
Built for Cisco enterprise wireless deployments, the C9130AXI-B supports uplink and downlink MU-MIMO, OFDMA, Target Wake Time, BSS Coloring, beamforming, Cisco CleanAir, Wireless Intrusion Prevention System capabilities, and Cisco RF spectrum analysis. It includes a 5G multigigabit RJ45 Ethernet port, RJ45 management console port, USB 2.0 port, and integrated BLE radio for location, wayfinding, asset tracking, and IoT applications.
The C9130AXI-B is a controller-based access point designed for use with compatible Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, including Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers. Cisco sold Embedded Wireless Controller versions under separate C9130AXI-EWC part numbers.
